Care for Bagind

A leather product, like any other natural material, needs proper care to last for years as it looked beautiful when it was first unwrapped. With conscientious care, you will show respect not only to the product itself, but also to our friends in India and Colombia who have handcrafted it for you.

Leather balm? Balm for the soul!

The genuine leather we use in the production of our products can be prone to cracking due to everyday use. It is therefore advisable to protect your Bagind. One of the most natural ways to protect it is with beeswax. However, it is too hard on its own, so we offer it in the form of a fine paste - a balm that is directly adapted for application to the surface of the product.

The balm nourishes the skin and maintains its structure to prevent deformation and dryness. It is produced by us in the Czech Republic and has a special scent that you won't find elsewhere.

Get rid of dirt the organic way

Are you worried that your Bagind is no longer in the same condition as when you took it out of the box on the first day? Even genuine leather can't escape the rigours of the outside environment, such as poor quality and dusty air. We recommend the natural way to clean genuine leather. Leave the jar and sponge in the closet. Rather use our Bio Cleaner which we have developed especially for Bagind products.

100% natural BIO cleaner Bagind is a water-based product. It contains tensides from hemp oil and yeast, which are ideal for the care of genuine leather and cotton, which you will find, for example, inside the products from India. Application is simple - just use a soft brush to remove coarse dirt from the surface, spread the product with the included cloth and let it absorb. Do not rinse the cleaner.

Even rain won't stop you

Changeable weather will not surprise you anymore! Bagind Iimpregnation will provide perfect protection for your product. Spray the impregnation on the product and let it dry. The impregnation forms a protective layer on the product that prevents damage from moisture and dirt. We produce it fairly in the Czech Republic.

Leave repairs to the experts

Don't wear light pieces with Bagind in the beginning

Don't wear light pieces with Bagind in the beginning

During the traditional natural process, the brown products are oiled with vegetable oil to give the leather its beautiful shiny colour. So it may happen that in the first 2-3 months they can lightly stain light colored clothes. We recommend wearing Bagind with rather darker clothes in the beginning, until the product reaches the right patina.

How to take care of the Bagind correctly

Treat it with care
01

Treat it with care

Leather is a material that needs to be cared for, nourished and protected from dirt. Give it quality care! It will reward you with a long life.
Don't overload it
02

Don't overload it

Although our travel bags can carry almost everytging, it is not advisable to overload them unnecessarily. This will avoid deformation of the leather and loss of the original shape of the product.
Hang it up
03

Hang it up

When you're not traveling, we recommend hanging Bagind. It wouldn't be too happy lying on the ground or piled up in a closet, as it runs the risk of wrinkling and creasing the leather, or becoming affected by mold.
Let it dry
04

Let it dry

If your Bagind gets wet, we recommend wiping it with a soft cloth and letting it dry. Do not expose it to a direct heat source (heater, stove), rather let it dry at room temperature to avoid cracking the skin.
